Biography

I, Dr. Abdallah M. Elgorban, working as Associate Professor at Centre of Excellence in Biotechnology Research (CEBR), King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from March 2009 till date, with 13 years of research and academic experience. He obtained his M. Sc. and PhD. degrees in Plant Pathology. He is having 15 years of academic experience in two major Arab Universities (Mansoura University, Egypt and King Saud University, Saudi Arabia), 17 years of experience in scientific research in the field of Plant Pathology and Marine Mycology, 10 years of experience in judging research articles and proposals, and also working and cooperation with large scientific research programs and teams, and managing plant diseases in large commercial scale production. His area of research interest focuses on Morphological and Molecular Identification of Plant-Parasitic Fungi and Marine Mycology; Host/Pathogen Interactions; and Biological Control of Plant-Parasitic Diseases. He has good communication skills and ability to effectively interact with researchers, plant breeders, growers and general public. He has 36 publications in journals contributed as author/co-author.
