Biography

Salim LAMINE is a Senior Lecturer in Remote Sensing and GIS at the University Akli Mohand Oulhadj of Bouira. He received his PhD from the University of Sciences and Technology Houari Boumediene (Algeria) (Supervisor: Professor. Nour El Islam BACHARI) in cooperation with the University of Aberystwyth (UK) (Co-supervisor: Professor. George PETROPOULOS). Salim research area is multidisciplinary; it includes Hyperspectral Remote Sensing, Field Spectroradiometry, Precision Agriculture, Soil Geo-chemistry, Geo-Statistics and the validation of soil moisture data & energy fluxes from several Earth Observation satellites using SVAT models. He is author/co-author of +10 peer-reviewed papers published in highly respected journals, +50 international conferences and One book chapter.
