Biography

Prof. Tahar Mechichi is currently working as Professor and Head of the Graduate College Science and Technologies, University of Sfax. He has completed his Ph.D. in Microbiology from University of Aix-Marseille 1, France. Previously he served as Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Freiburg, Germany, Research Scientist at the Center of Biotechnology, and Associate Professor at the School of Engineering of Sfax, Tunisia. He is member of Tunisian Society of Microbioal Ecology and Tunisian Society of Biotechnology. He also completed 3 research projects as principal investigator. He is also serving as referee for several journals. He has published 47 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
