Biography

Dr. YAO Saraka Didier Martial has a PhD degree in Molecular Genetics, Plant Breeding and Plant Genetic Resources Conservation obtained in July 2014 at the University of Nangui Abrogoua (UNA, Côte d’Ivoire in Western Africa). Since July 2015, he has been recruited as Assistant in Biological Sciences Department of the University of Peleforo Gon Coulibaly (UPGC, Côte d’Ivoire). He conducts his research works in shea breeding program and groundnut breeding program at the Biological Sciences Department of UPGC (Côte d'Ivoire). He studied in multidisciplinary research teams that help him to purchase full experiences in agronomic sciences such as molecular genetics and plant breeding, plant genetic resources management, seed technology, statistics and biotechnology. Currently, Dr. YAO Saraka Didier Martial is Assistant Professor and works with genetics research and educational unit of UPGC in Northern Côte d’Ivoire. Likewise, Dr. YAO Saraka Didier Martial carries on the collaboration with coconut breeding program of Centre National de Recherche Agronomique (CNRA, Côte d’Ivoire) about the managing of the International Coconut Genebank for Africa and Indian Ocean.
