Biography

Chukwuemeka C. Mbah, PhD obtained a bachelor of pharmacy (B. Pharm), master of pharmacy (M. Pharm)and doctor of philosophy (PhD)(physical pharmaceutics) degrees from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Dr. Chukwuemeka C. Mbah currently works as a Lecturer in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Industrial Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Nigeria. He had earlier had several years of experience as Research Fellow with National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development, Abuja, Nigeria. Dr. C. C. Mbah has authored and co-authored over twenty publications in some reputable international journals. Some of the resent publications include: 1. "Formulation and in vitro evaluation of pH-responsive ethosomes for vaginal delivery of metronidazole. Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology. Dec., 2014, 24(6): 565-571", 2. "Nanovesicular carriers as alternative drug delivery systems: ethosomes in focus. Exp. Opin. Drug Deliv., Jan. 2014, Vol. 11, No. 1: 45-59", and 3. "Mucoadhesive Potentials of a Natural Polymer Obtained from the Seeds of Dioclea reflexa in Aminophylline Tablet Formulations. British Journal of Pharmaceutical Research 7(6): 413-427, 2015". Dr Mbah`s major research interests includes, but not limited to, pharmaceutical dosage form design, nano drug delivery systems and pharmaceutical raw materials development. He is currently affiliated to some notable journals as an author and reviewer, e.g., Expert Opinion on Drug Delivery, Pharmaceutical Research, African Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Biology, and Journal of Drud Delivery Science and Technology, to mention but a few.
