Biography

A Ph.D. research student in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Health Science, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa state; My research interests include marine pharmacology and immunology, with expertise in gut microbiome, marine antimicrobials, nutraceuticals, functional foods and probiotics, vaccines and immunology, hepatitis and sexually transmitted diseases, and other topical health issues.

A research team leader with over 7 years of cosmic experience at national and international levels, infectious disease management, health policy and guideline development, and excelling in natural medicaments production with a proven record of an existing extemporaneous preparation for the management of liver fibrosis, as well as grant proposal writing and negotiation.

I had over 15 articles published in high-impact peer-reviewed international journals, written over two books that are indexed in the National Library of Nigeria, and reviewed over 50 articles from various reputable journals. I’ve contributed to several book chapters and am well-versed in molecular and computational biology.
