Biography

David Akinbo is a Medical Scientist and a Lecturer of Haematology and Blood Transfusion Science at the Afe Babalola University. He has research interests in haemoglobinopathy, mechanistic studies of novel cytotoxic plant agents on cancer models, haematological perspectives of diseases. Also, he takes interests in research discoveries and latest medical interventions and has conducted various types of experiments and studies centered on these interests in the last decade. His research accomplishments have earned him over 21 publications in well reputed and high impact academic journals and presented numerous papers at seminars and conferences around the world. He is passionate about teaching and imparting knowledge, good morals and experience in the field of laboratory haematology. He has won a number of national and international academic laurels predicated upon his researches.
