I had my PhD training at Rhodes University, Grahamstown, South Africa under the supervision and co-supervision of Prof. Setshaba D. Khanye and Dr Matshawe M. Tukulula (University of KwaZulu-Natal), respectively. My Master Degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and Bachelor’s Degree in Pure and Applied Chemistry from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria.

My research interest centres on drug discovery (template on both natural products and small synthetic molecules) for infectious diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis etc. I currently work as a lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa, Nigeria.
