Biography

Dr. Osuji Emeka Emmanuel, is a Ph.D holder and Researcher at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture umudike, Nigeria. He is an Agricultural Economists by profession, with specialty in Agricultural Resource and Environmental Economics. He is an adept academic and innovative researcher with irrefutable skills and experience. He is an astute member of various professional bodies such as Farm Management Association of Nigeria (FAMAN), African Farm Management Association (AFMA), Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria (CICN), Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN), Agricultural Society of Nigeria (ASN), Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists (NAAE), Agricultural Extension Society of Nigeria (AESON), Rural Sociological Association of Nigeria (RUSAN), African Association of Agricultural Economists (AAAE), Agriculture Nigeria (AGN), to mention but a few. He has participated in several professional seminars, symposiums, conferences, workshops, etc with lead paper presentations. He is an experience consultant and a resource guru to several organizations. He is equally a team player, and a driver of community development services. Dr. Osuji Emeka Emmanuel is an associate researcher with Imo State Agricultural Development Programme (ADP), Nigeria and editorial board members/reviewers of several prolific scientific research organizations across the globe. His research interest includes, Technology Innovations and Impact Assessment, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship, Resource and Production Economics, Environmental Sustainability, Climate Change and Poverty Reduction. He has held several leadership positions and received awards/honours in recognition of his intellectual contributions and valuable services to humanity. He is poised to drive agricultural revolution by integrating environmental concerns and efficient resource use while focusing on qualitative scientific research aimed at providing contextualized policy solutions for country specific issues, needs and challenges as well as foster research policy-linkages for sustainable economic growth and development.
