Biography

My research is studying the molecular pathogenesis of uterine leiomyoma (fibroids). My aim is to investigate the genetic, epigenetic, and environmental factors that may influence myometrial stem cell transformation to develop leiomyoma. And my interest is to create chemotherapies, from plants, for complete treatment of leiomyoma, which is destroying reproductive-aged women of African ancestry.
