Professor Moses Enemaduku Abalaka is a Professor of Microbiology (with interest in Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Nanotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering) at Department of Microbiology, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria. He obtained his PhD in May, 2010 from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. His research works have been in areas of drug discovery, development and drug administration, determination of antimicrobial activities of plant and plant parts, exploration of plant and plant products for medicinal purposes, molecular basis for susceptibility and resistance of microorganisms to plant extracts and antibiotics, exploration of nanotechnology for drug delivery to target organs to enhance activity and circumvent the night mare being created by ongoing resistance by microbial super bugs, and also working in area of soil microbial engineering. MOSES ABALAKA has authored and co-authored over 80 refereed publications including 4 books. He has successfully supervised many PhD students and M Sc (M. Tech) students. He is a member of the editorial boards of 4 different journals with high impact factors and he is also a reviewer to over 10 different journals across the globe. He has served in various administrative capacities including level adviser, postgraduate coordinator as well as academic boards’ member and member of Senate.
