Biography

Dr. Oghenerobor Benjamin Akpor is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Microbiology from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka and the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, obtained in 1999 and 2004, respectively. His doctoral degree was in the field of Water Care from the Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa in 2009. His research experiences have culminated in the publication of numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and he delivered several oral and poster presentations at local and international conferences. He serves as publishing editor of several journals. His current research interests are in the areas of biological wastewater treatment, solid waste recycling and reuse and plant growth promotion.
