Dr. Abdalbasit Adam Mariod Al-Nadif is currently working as Professor at Department of Biology, College of Sciences & Art, ALkamil, King Abdalaziz University, Saudi Arabia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Food Chemistry from University of Muenster, Germany. He is member of 15 research projects. He is published 88 research articles in International Refereed Journals as well as 20 in International Proceedings, 4 patents and 6 books contributed as author/ co-author. He was received 8 Medals in Research and Academic Excellence, 9 Research grants. He successfully supervised 3 PhD thesis and 7 MSc students. His current area of research interest focuses on functional foods and nutrecuticals, bioactive compounds extraction, determination identification and application, oil & fat processing technologies, oil & fat new sources, oil stability, extraction, determination and identification of phenolic compounds, natural antioxidants & antioxidant activity, and food product development. He is also member of editor board in number of journals. He is member of American Oil Chemist Society AOCS, European Federation for Lipid Science & Technology EUROFEDLIPID, Sudanese Natural Products Society SNPS, German Alumni Forestry Network GAForN, and Sudan Academy of Science SAS.
