Biography

I was born in July 1984 in Ethiopia. I have completed my secondary education in June 2004, and commenced my higher education in September 2004 in Addis Ababa University. I have completed my biology undergraduate education in 2007. Later, from 2008-2010, I studied my master study program in biology in Bahir Dar University. I also used to work in Arba Minch University from 2007-2013 as a lecturer. In 2013, I received Tropimundo Erasmus Mundus Masters Course scholarship in Tropical Biodiversity and Ecosystems, and completed in 2015, and granted multiple master degrees from UniFi, VUB and ULB. Later, I worked in the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute as an associate researcher in the field of ethnobotany and plant ecology from 2015 to 2017. Currently, I am working as an associate researcher in Ethiopian Environment and Forest Research Institute (EEFRI).
