Biography

Dr. Wosene Gebreselassie Abtew is currently working as Lecturer and Researcher at Jimma University College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine. He is PhD Student in Agriculture from Universitat Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. He has obtained his MSc in Plant Sciences from Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Previously he has performed his duties as Chairman of a Committee in preparing research strategic plan for college of agriculture and member in developing different curricula at Jimma University, and acted as Research Sub-Centre Manager at Tepi Agr. Research Centre in different periods. He co-advised two MSc students thesis. He also organized senior seminars and research projects of BSc students. He is author and co-author of 12 journal article and 4 proceeding contributed as author/co-author.
