Wondimagegnehu Tekalign (Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor of Animal Ecology and Wildlife Conservation in the College of Natural and Computational Sciences, Wolaita Sodo University (WSU), Ethiopia. He is working as an academic staff delivering various courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Ethiopian Universities. Besides, he is involving in research and community service activities related to the area of his field of interest. He is a member of various national and international societies; such as the Ethiopian Biological Society, Ethiopian Cultural, and Historical Heritage Society, Ethiopian Space Science Society, and African Neuroscientists Society. The focus of his research interest is related to wildlife ecology, conservation, and management, and published many articles as a first author and co-author. He has international experience at Windhoek-Namibia, Entebbe-Uganda, and Dublin-Ireland. He is involving as a member of the Asian Council of Science Editors and, reviewer of various national and international journals. He is a Past-Head for the Biology Department, Dean for the College of Education, Director for Research and Community Services; and Coordinator of Post-Graduate Programs in the same University. He is currently a Managing Editor of the Journal of Science and Inclusive Development at WSU, and aggressively working in the wildlife conservation and management programs in Ethiopia.
