Biography

Dr. Mesele Yihune Tamene is currently working in Debre Markos University. He obtained his PhD in Ecological and Systematic Zoology from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He is having 3 year 4 month teaching experience. He is member of Biological Society of Ethiopia, and Environmental Protection Club in the University. He also received grants from Frankfurt Zoological Society under Afro-alpine Ecosystem Conservation Project to conduct a research on Human-wildlife (The Ethiopian Wolf and Gelada Baboon Conflict) in and Around the Simien Mountains National Park, Ethiopia. He has 6 publications in journals as author/co-author.
