Biography

Dr. Dessalegn Ejigu Berhane is currently working as Assistant Professor at Bahir Dar University. He obtained his PhD in Biology from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia in 2013. He has 11 publications in journals, 5 papers presented in Symposium contributed as author/co-author. He is member of Biological Society of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Wildlife and Natural History Society, and Ethiopian Red Cross Society. He also performed leadership roles in different institutes. He is also member of different committees such as members at University level (Committee member for PhD students incentive proposal preparation 2013, Committee chair for Materials Science and Engineering MSc Curriculum Revision 2014, Committee member for guidelines preparation to international conference participants and journal publication cost to BDU staff members 2014), and Conference Organizing Committee.
