Biography

Dr. Elpiniki I. Papageorgiou is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Computer Engineering, Technological Educational Institute of Central Greece, Lamia, Greece. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Patras, Greece. His area of research interest related to Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Cognitive Maps, Soft Computing Techniques, Intelligent Algorithms, Computational Intelligence Techniques, Medical Decision Support, Complex Adaptive Systems, Expert Systems and Decision Support Systems, Machine Learning, Data Mining Techniques, and Software Engineering and Knowledge-based Systems. He also completed more than 12 research projects. He was received Scholarship from IKY for Postdoctoral Studies in Computer Science, and PhD Studies in Computer Science at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology, University of Patras, Greece. He has published (1) book, (48) articles in journals (12) chapters in book, and (63) conference proceedings, (7) proceedings with abstract review contributed as author/co-author. He is member of editorial board in journals. He is also serving as reviewer in journals and reviewer at scientific conferences. He is also member of many program committees. He supervised 3 PhD students as supervisor/co-supervisor.
