Dr. Milan Janic is currently working as Senior Researcher at Delft University of Technology Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Department of Air Transport Operations, Delft, The Netherlands. He has completed his Ph.D. in Transport Engineering from University of Belgrade, Serbia. Previously he was appointed as Assistant-Researcher, Researcher, Independent Researcher, and Senior Researcher/Research Programme Leader at Institute of Traffic and Transport, Ljubljana, Slovenia, Yugoslavia, Assistant Professor at University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences Novi Sad, Serbia, Yugoslavia, Senior Research Fellow at Loughborough University, Senior Research Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University, Senior Researcher/Research Programme Leader at Delft University of Technology, and Research Professor at University of Belgrade. He also participated in number of national and international research projects. He is member of Asian Council of Science Editors, Deira, Dubai, UAE, and member of editorial board in The Scientific World Journal: Aerospace Engineering, Transportation Journal, and Transportation Planning and Technology. He is also serving as reviewer for number of journals. He is the member of different international organizations such as NECTAR and ARTG (WCTR). His basic research expertise Embraces Analysis, Research, Modelling and Planning of operations in Air Transport systems consisted of Airports, Air Traffic control, and Airlines. It addition, it spreads out over the fields such as operations of the integrated (intermodal) transport systems, the relationships between particular transport modes, and the impacts of transport systems on the environment. He has published 69 research articles in journals, 6 books, 16 chapters in books, and 82 national and international conference proceeding contributed as author/co-author.
