Biography
Dr. Philippe Boucher is currently working as Professor at University of Strasbourg France. He obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from University of Lyon, France in 1999. He supervised 20 Masters, 9 PhD, and 5 Postdoctoral Fellows. He also received number of grants for his research work. Dr. Philippe Boucher received honors includes French Society for Endocrinology Award, American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET)Young Scientist Travel Award, French National Academy of Medicine Eloi Collery Award, and Young Scientist Jean Valade Award. He is Editor-in-Chief Webmed Central plus and member of editor board in The Journal of Angiology, The Journal of Cardiology and Therapy, and Pharmacologia. He is also serving as reviewer in journals such as Journal of Clinical Investigation, Science Signaling, Faseb journal, Nucleic Acids Research, PloS One, Endocrinology, Atherosclerosis, J.Histochem Cytochem, FEBS Letter, Obesity, Biochem. Pharmacol, Atherosclerosis Thrombosis and Vascular Biology, Circulation Research. He is member of American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET), Laureate of the National Academy of Medicine, Paris, France, Societe FranÒaise de Physiologie, Nouvelles Societe Francaise d’Atherosclerose (NSFA), Societe Francaise de Pharmacologie et de Therapeutique. The goals of his research program are to determine the Molecular Mechanisms by which Extracellular Signals Regulate Vascular Remodelling, Heart Failure and Chondrogenesis. He has published 28 articles in journals as author/co-author. He also delivered number of invited lectures in Conferences/ Symposium.
