Biography

Dr. Raul Perianez is currently working as Senior Researcher and Lecturer in the Department of Applied Physics, University of Seville, Spain. He has completed his Ph.D. in Physics from same University. His main area of interest focuses on Numerical Modelling of Hydrodynamics, Sediment Transport and Radionuclide Dispersion in Aquatic Environments, Estuarine and Coastal Waters, Development of Rapid-Response Dispersion Models for Assessment after Emergencies, Dispersion models for Reactive Radiouclides including Water/ Sediment interactions, and Numerical Modelling of Tsunami Propagation. He has published 2 books, 84 research articles in journals and 55 communications in conferences contributed as author/co-author. He also participated/directed 31 research projects supported by local, national and international authorities. He also delivered number of invited lectures in conferences and seminars.
