Biography

Dr. Cristina Maria Fernandes Delerue Alvim de Matos obtained her PhD in Chemistry from University of Malaya, Malaysia. Her area of scientific activity includes Analytical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Biosensors, Waste management, Environmental analysis and Soil remediation. Her present research interest related to Sample preparation, Chromatography, Bio-sensors. She is serving as Reviewer of several scientific journals in the areas of Chemistry. She is also Member of the Organizing Committee of several national conferences in the areas of Chromatography, Electrochemistry and Environment. She supervised 16 PhD and 24 Masters students, 3 PhD students currently in her supervision. She has published 1 book, 16 book chapters and 13 articles in journals as author/co-author.
