Dritan Topi, PhD is a Full Professor at University of Tirana, Faculty of Natural Sciences, and Department of Chemistry. Prof. Topi has over 30 scientific papers and projects either presented or published. He is an internationally recognized expert in many areas of food toxicology, foo sciences, food safety and quality, food advanced analysis. He is a regularly invited lecturer at a number of public and non-public Universities in Albania, as well as has been invited in other Universities across Europe, like university of Ljubljana, Universitat degli studi di Milano, University if Iasi, across Europe. Recent publications include a paper on Ergot Alkaloids presence in wheat in Albania, Characterization of Monocultivar Olive oils of Albania. Prof. Topi is Member of a number of International Scientific Conference Boards. Prof. Topi a BS in Food Chemistry from University of Tirana and MSc. in Chemical Instrumental Analysis from University of Tirana. He completed his Post doc research fellowship in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Feed and Food safety at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
