Biography

Dr. Ilija Djekic holds a position of Associate Professor at Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, Serbia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Technical Sciences from same University. Previously he was appointed as Managing Director at Scientific Consulting Services, Regional Manager for Eastern Europe at American Assessment Services - Europe (AAS Europe), Duke Dinica, and Teaching Assistant at University of Novi Sad. He lead 7 national research projects and completed 2 research projects as Team Leader. He is member of Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor accredited to RABQSA International, LRQA (Lloyds Register Quality Assurance) certified Lead Auditor for Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems and HACCP/ Food Safety Management Systems, member of the Serbian Technical Committee 207 for Environmental Management with the scope of standardization in the field of environmental management tools and systems, Environmental Management System Lead Auditor accredited to RABQSA International, and Food Safety Management System Lead Auditor accredited to RABQSA International. He has published 31 research articles in journals, 5 books as well as 29 national and international conference proceedings contributed as author/co-author. He is also serving as reviewer for journals.
