Biography

Dr. Vesna Kosoric is currently working as Architect, Designer and Founder at BauLab GmbH, Starrkirch-Wil, Switzerland. She has completed her D.Sc. in Architecture from University of Belgrade, Serbia. Her area of research interest includes Sustainability - Sustainable building design, Multi-Objective Design Optimization - Finding optimal design strategies and solutions, Integration of Renewable Energy in buildings - Active building envelope, Integration of Solar technologies, Space and health - Living comfort & health & well-being, User oriented research, and Integrated design- Architecture and technologies - Building structure - Interiors. Previously she was appointed as Managing Director, Architect at SEEEA d.o.o., Belgrade, Serbia, Visiting Scholar at School of Design and Environment (SDE), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, and Laboratory for Solar Energy and Building Physics (LESO-PB), EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne), Lausanne, Switzerland, Architect-Development Consultant at EZ Build d.o.o., Belgrade, Serbia, and Redactor and Translator at Gradevinska knjiga d.o.o., Belgrade, Serbia, and Professor at College of Architecture and Urbanism, Pancevo, Serbia, and Coach for 5th year students of Architecture, Belgrade, Serbia. She has published 7 research articles n journals, 7 conference papers, and 2 books and 1 book chapter contributed as author/co-author. She is also serving as Referee in Architectural Science Review (ASR), Sydney, and member of FundaÒao para a Ciencia e a Tecnologia (FCT), Porto, Serbian Chamber of Engineers, EXPEDITIO, Montenegro, and Andrejevic Endowment, Belgrade.
