Biography

Dr. Nunzio Russo graduated in Chemistry at University of Torino and got his PhD in Materials Science and Technology at Politecnico di Torino where he is currently Associate Professor in Industrial and Technological Chemistry. He coordinates a group of more than 25 people including PhD students, Research Grantees, Consultants Operating in the following research areas: Photocatalysis, Catalytic Treatment of Diesel Exhaust, Soot Combustion, NOx Reduction, Catalyst and Catalytic Trap Development, Catalytic Filters for Flue Gas Cleaning: DeNOx or VOCs Removal Combined with Fly-Ash Removal in Catalytically Activate Filters, Catalytic Combustion of Methane, Development of Catalysts, Multifunctional Reactors. He is author of more than 120 papers, whose topics concern the research fields above reported. He usually acts as reviewer for the most important scientific journals in the area of Environmental Catalysis. He has been actively taking part in several European research projects. He is editor of the Journal of Chemical Engineering Research Studies.
