Dr. Francesco FAZIO, graduated In Veterinary Medicine at the University of Messina in 1996, and received PhD in Equine Physiology 1999. From December 03th, 2013, according to the Italian National Scientific Qualification (art. 16 of the Law 30 December 2010, n. 240): Qualified for the position of Associate Professor in Veterinary Physiology (VET/02), Examination Sector 07/H1 Veterinary Morphology and Physiology, Macro-sector 07/H. Since 2006 he is researcher of Veterinary Physiology (disciplinary sector: VET/02) in the department of Veterinary Science, University of Messina. He is professor of "Applied Vegetative Physiology” in Course in Veterinary Medicine (LM42) , University of Messina and he is Aggregate Professor of Physiology of Farm Animal at the degree course interacademy of Sciences and Technologies of Animal Productions of the University of Magna GrÑcia in Catanzaro.

His research interest includes:: Chronophysiological, metabolic, cardiac, and emogasanalitic variations during exercise in athletic horse. Seasonal monitoring of hematologic and biochemical profile in fish species used in aquaculture. Oxidative stress in fish farming, small ruminants and horse.
