Biography

Dr. Dario Assante is currently Professor of the Electrical Engineering courses for undergraduate programs in Computer Engineering and Engineering Management. He got a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, in 2005. He has been Adjunct Professor of Circuit Theory and Electrical Engineering at the University of Sannio and the University of Naples Parthenope. Since 2009, he is Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO and also coordinatates the double degree program in ICT Engineering that the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO organizes in collaboration with the Helwan University (Cairo, Egypt). He has participated since 2002 in several national and international research projects, being involved in research and organizational activities. He is the Academic Coordinator of the Erasmus and Erasmus Mundus programs at the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO. His main research activity concerns the electromagnetic modeling. His research interests involve the study of the lightning phenomena of evaluation of the induced over voltages on transmission lines, the electromagnetic modeling of particle accelerators cavities, the analysis of high-speed interconnects, electromagnetic compatibility and shielding, electromagnetic modeling in the biomedical field. He recently published 17 articles in National and International journals.
