Biography

Dr. Gallo Michela is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering (DICCA), University of Genoa – Polytechnic School, Italy. She has completed her Ph.D. in Environmental Science from University of Genova, Italy. She is member of different societies such as CT 308 of CEI (Electro-technical Italian Committee) – Environmental impact of electric materials and products, UNI (Italian Standardisation Organisation) Working Group: WG 10 part of the Environment Commission on ISO 14025, Member of UNI WG 3 - ISO 14025 applied to construction materials, Member of the UNI working group on ISO 14064 and 14065, Scientific Committee of ASSOSCAI, Working group for definition and development of GHG emissions reduction strategies for Local Governments of the CARTESIO network cluster sustainable management, Technical Committee polluted soils (CTTC), in cooperation with ISPRA, Regional ARPA and the VIII Environmental Commission of Italian Parliament, and Advisory Board of Costa Foundation. In past she worked as Lecturer and Professor at University of Genoa. She has published 40 articles in journals as well as 4 books.
