Biography
Dr. Elisa Pellegrino is currently working as Research Assistant at Scuola Superiore SantAnna (SSSUP), Pisa, Italy. She obtained her Ph.D. in Crop and Environmental Sciences from University of Pisa, Italy. In past she worked as Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Research Fellowship at Institute of Life Sciences, SSSUP, Pisa, Italy, and Visitor Scientist at the Department of Biology at University of York, UK. She also supervised many PhD and MSc students. She successfully completed number of research projects and also received grants for her research work. She is member of British Ecological Society, International Society for Microbial Ecology (ISME); GfOe (Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland). She has published 15 research articles in ISI journals as well as 37 papers in conferences contributed as author/co-author.
