Dr. Iolanda De Marco gained the PhD degree in Chemical Engineering in 2003, at the University of Salerno. She obtained a Post-Doc Grant and two research fellowships at the Department of Chemical and Food Engineering, University of Salerno. Currently, she is Assistant Professor in Chemical Plants at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the same University. Her research activity is experimental, related on Thermodynamic Analysis of the involved Phenomena and Modeling. Her recent interests are also related to the Life Cycle Assessment of Food Products and Processes. Her didactic activity is performed in the Chemical Plants Design Group. Moreover, she is advisor and co-advisor for various thesis and PhD thesis in Chemical Engineering. She has been guest editor for two special issues of the international journals The Journal of Supercritical Fluids and Materials. She is referee for different international journals (ISI journals), and, until now, she reviewed more or less 30 papers. She produced about 70 papers, of which more than 30 are published on international journals, 3 are chapters of international books, the other are papers presented at international conferences.
