Biography

Dr. Anh Phan is currently working as Lecturer at the School of Chemical Engineering & Advanced Materials (CEAM) at Newcastle University, England. She obtained her PhD in Chemical & Process Engineering, at the University of Sheffield, UK, M.Eng in Chemical Engineering from HCMC University of Technology. In past she also worked as Leader of the biofuel processing research team, Collaborated with industrial partners and across academic disciplines in the University, Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) University of Technology, Manager of the Process Intensification Lab, The day-to-day leader of the research group on “mesoscale reactors”, Research Associate at Newcastle University. She is member of Chemical Industry (SCI), Energy Institute (EI) and Institution of Chemical Engineers. She is also serving as regular reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals, i.e. Fuel, Applied Energy, Chemical Engineering Journal and Fuel Processing Technology etc. She actively participated in number of conferences and workshops, and also presented articles in conferences at national and international level. Dr Anh Phan received number of honors include winner of the Process Technology Group Award, winner of a National Scholarship to study PhD at the University of Sheffield, awarded the Eureka award for Young Scientist of Vietnam. She is also a co-supervisor of 4 PhD students. She has published 26 articles in journals as author/co-author.
