Biography

Dr. Afsoon Moatari Kazerouni obtained her Ph.D. in Geology from Aarhus University, Denmark. Her working experience includes, worked at Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS), National Iranian Gas Company, and KEPS Company (Oil & Gas Company). Dr. Afsoon received honors includes, Ph.D Scholar Aarhus University-Denmark, Winner of the Best Essay award in AAPG International Geological Congress, Youth Scientist Grant, and Grant from International Clay Conference-Hungary-Budapest. She is member of Professional Associations such as Petroleum Exploration Society of Iran, Network on Impact Research, Nordic Mineralogical Network (NMN), Geological Society of Iran, Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland. She has published 6 articles in journals, 22 conference proceedings contributed as author/co-author. Her area of interest related to Earth Science and Geography, Geochemistry, Sequence Stratigraphy, and Scanning Electron Microscope.
