Biography

Dr. Erick Roberto Bandala Gonzalez is currently working as Visiting Professor at Department of Environmental Technology and Design, Appalachian State University, Boone, NC, USA, and Professor at Department of Chemical, Food and Environmental Engineering, Universidad de Las Americas-Puebla, Mexico. He has completed his Ph.D. in Engineering from National Autonomous University, Mexico. Previously he was appointed as Graduated Studies Coordinator and Associate Professor at Universidad de Las Americas-Puebla, Mexico, Titular Researcher at Mexican Institute of Water Technology (IMTA), Ministry of Environment, Mexico, and Adjunct Professor at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, National Autonomous University of Mexico, Mexio. Dr. Erick Roberto received honors domestically included UDLAP Distinguished Teaching Award, Puebla State Science and Technology Award 2012, Puentes Consortium Fellow, Rice International Visiting Fellow on Energy, the Environment and Sustainability, and Invited Researcher at Plataforma Solar de Almeria, Spain. He is author and co-author of more than 132 journal papers. He successfully completed 28 national and international funded research projects. Currently he is supervising 3 PhD, 6 masters, and 1 undergraduate student. He successfully supervised 1 PhD, 6 Masters and 25 undergraduate student. He is also serving as member of editorial board in guest editors for journals. Currently, he is involved as referee for several international journals.
