Graduation in Agronomic Engineering from the University of Brasília, area of concentration Rural Engineering, master's degree in Biological Sciences with concentration in Phytopathology and doctorate in Phytopathology, also from the University of Brasília. She is currently a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation and collaborates in the Post-Graduate Course in Phytopathology at UnB, as a professor of the Biological Control of Phytopathogens Discipline, advisor of the Master and Doctorate. She has experience in the field of plant production, research in the evaluation and conservation of plant germplasm under field conditions, technical assistance to farmers, diagnosis and control of pests and diseases, seed pathology. At Embrapa Genetic Resources and Biotechnology, develop research on the conservation of microbial genetic resources and biological control. She is responsible for the CENARGEN Microbial Genetic Resources Bank, together with the Genetic Heritage Council (CGEN). She is a member of the Microorganisms Group of the Genetic Resources Network of the Southern Cone Countries (Regensur-Procisur).
