Prof Dr Norazlina Mohamed is a Professor and lecturer in Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She is currently the Head of Bone Metabolism Research Group UKM. She is also a member of Research Ethics Committee, UKM. Her research interest is bone metabolism and the role of natural products on various metabolic bone disorders in rat models. She has also embarked on wound healing study by looking at the effects of natural products (such as olive oil & palm vitamin E) on wound healing in diabetic rat model. She has published more than 80 journal articles and has a H-index of 15. She has won several research and innovation awards either as principal investigator or co-investigator such as International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Product, Geneva, International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX) and Malaysia Technology Expo. She has been the principal investigator for internal and external funds such as IRPA grant, FRGS grant and NRGS grant.
