Dr. Muhammad Yasin Naz has completed his PhD in Fluid Mechanics from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. He is working as Lecturer at Department of Physics, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan (on leave). The main responsibilities were teaching, research and administrative works. The research responsibilities include to work on new research projects, contribution to the current research tasks and initiation of new research activities. He has supervised a number of master research students. In addition he has been a member of more than 10 supervisor committees of MSc and M. Phil research students. As a Co-principle investigator he has already completed one research project funded by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. He is also an active member of research group working on Laser Induced Plasma (LIP) and Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) in newly established Laser spectroscopy lab in Department of Physics, University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He has published more than 53 journal papers on different theoretical and experimental aspects of the Plasma Diagnostics and Electromagnetic. He also published two books with LAMBERT Academic Publishing, Germany. His future research interests are in Fast Magnetic Reconnection Energy Measurements in Magnetically Dominated Plasmas. He has participated in 27 national and international scientific and engineering conferences. His academic and research achievements also include bronze medal in MSc Physics, one silver and one bronze medal in different editions of Science and Engineering Design Exhibition organized by Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), most publications award for year 2013-14 from UTP, best paper award in International Postgraduate Network Conference Summit 2014 Langkawi-Malaysia, Research Productivity Award for year 2013-14 from Pakistan Council of Science and Technology, Certificate of Merit from University of Agriculture Faisalabad-Pakistan.
