Biography

Dr. Burhanuddin bin Mohd Aboobaider is currently working as Associate Professor and Deputy Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies, Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, Malaysia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Industrial Computing from same University. His working experience includes appointed as Associate Professor at King Abdul Aziz University, Saudi Arabia, Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), and Open University Malaysia (OUM), Tutor at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). His area of research interest related to Multiple Criteria Decision Making Models, Decision Support System, Optimization Techniques, Operational Research, Artificial Intelligence, and Health Informatics. He has published 38 research articles in journals, 15 book, modules and thesis contributed as author/co-author. He was received Bronze Medal in Malaysia Technology Expo 2009 (MTE 2009). He successfully supervised 9 diploma, 64 bachelor students, 8 masters, and 6 PhD students.
