Biography

Dr. John Tisdell is currently working as Professor (Chair, Resource Economics), at University of Tasmania, Adjunct Professor (Resource Economics) Griffith U, and Co-Editor, Australian Journal of Research and Agricultural Economics. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from University of Queensland, Australia. His research interest related to Water Resources Management issues, Experimental Economics, Resource and Ecological Economics issues. He is also member of many professional committees. His working experience includes Visiting Professor, at Cambridge University, UK and, University of Auckland, NZ and Economics teacher at Trinity Grammar School, Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor at Griffith U, and Head, School of Economics and Finance, U. Tas. He supervised 13 BSc (hons) and BEc (hons) students and 7 PhD and 2 Masters students. He is professional member of many societies. He is Co-editor of Australian Journal of Agricultural Economics. He is also reviewer of many journals. He has published 102 articles in journals, conferences and invited lectures contributed as author/co-author.
