Biography

Dr. Judy Tisdall is Adjunct Lecturer in Soil Science in Department of Agricultural Sciences at La Trobe University, and Editor-in-Chief, Soil & Tillage Research at Elsevier. He obtained his Ph.D. in Plant and Soil Sciences from University of Adelaide, Australia in 1981. His research area focused on Dynamics of Soil Aggregation, Soil Structure, Soil Biology including Earthworms, Fungal Hyphae and Microbial Activity, Soil Management for Horticultural Crops, Row Crops, and Pasture, Effect of Soils on Growth of Roots, Disposal of Wastewater on Pasture, Carbon Sequestration in Soils, Salinity and Grapevine Rootstocks, and Potassium and Grapevine Rootstocks. His current research project is Chloride Exclusion Mechanisms in Grapevine Rootstocks. He has published 37 research articles in journals as author/co-author.
