Biography

My research interests focus on vector biology, ecology and control of mosquitoes. In addition, I am also studying the epidemiology of dengue disease in the Philippines. Specifically, I study the (a) Population Biology and Genetics / Genomics of Ae. aegypti, (b) Molecular Analyses of Virus and Endosymbiotic Bacteria in Ae. aegypti, (c) Eco-epidemiological Modeling using Machine Learning Methods and (d) Sociological Aspects and Innovation of Dengue Disease
