Dr. Lee Ser Yee is a Consultant Surgeon at the Department of Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and Transplant Surgery, Singapore General Hospital and the Department of Surgical Oncology, National Cancer Centre, Singapore. Dr. Lee’s subspecialty is in Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, Liver Transplantation, Minimally-Invasive Surgery (laparoscopic and robotic surgery) and Surgical Oncology. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed his training in General Surgery at Singapore General Hospital and National Cancer Centre, Singapore. In addition, he holds a Master of Medicine and a Master of Science for his research in Cancer Biology. He subsequently underwent subspecialty training in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery and Liver Transplantation. He underwent further training in advanced Laparoscopic Hepatobiliary Surgery and Liver Transplantation under Professor Daniel Cherqui as a Clinical Fellow at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, USA. He also completed an additional clinical fellowship in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery (HPB) and Surgical Oncology in Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), New York. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education with Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore and Singhealth Residency Program. He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore. His research interests are in clinical and translational aspects of Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Cancers and Diseases. He also works in close collaboration with the scientists in National Cancer Centre Singapore. He is member of American Hepatopancreatobiliary Association, International Hepatopancreatobiliary Association, Assistant Chief Medical Officer, Singapore Grand Prix, Formula One Medical team, and Consultant Surgeon at the Department of Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and Transplant Surgery, Consultant in Department of Surgical Oncology, National Cancer Centre, Singapore, and Department of General Surgery, Singapore General Hospital. Dr. Lee received honors includes International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA) Warren Fellowship Award, Singhealth Publish Award, Young Surgeon Award, Singapore Millennium Foundation Scholarship, and Singhealth Best Registrar Award/ Best Medical Officer Award. He has 34 publications in journals as author/co-author.
