Biography

Dr. Sarana Sommano is currently working as Researcher at Science and Technology Research Institute, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai Thailand. She has completed her Ph.D. in Agricultural Science from University of Queensland, Australia, and Postdoctoral Fellowship from Forschungszentrum, Julich Germany. Dr. Sarana received honors includes People Choice’s Award at a 3 Minute Thesis competition, and Postgraduate research traveling scholarship from The University of Queensland to undertake research at School of Food and Wine The University of Adelaide Australia. She has published 9 research articles in journals, 1 book chapter, and 8 proceeding contributed as author/co-author. She also participated in research projects as project leader and member of project team.
