Biography

Miyuki Aso is a Professor and Chair in Management at Graduate School of Accounting and Finance (MBA program) at Chiba University of Commerce in Japan. He is also a professor of Management at Ph.D. program of Policy and Studies at Chiba University of Commerce. He obtained master degree of Economics from Rikkyo University and he finished the course work of Ph.D. program of Economics at Kyoto University in Japan. He teaches Business Ethics, Management, and Strategic Management, and Japanese Business Culture at Graduate School of Accounting and Finance at Chiba University of Commerce in Japan. He also has been a visiting professor at Hosei University in Tokyo. In addition, he serves as Vice-President that is charged with academic studies and faculty management.at Chiba University of Commerce currently. In his research, Professor Aso has examined the current situation and the roles of organizational behaviors and human resources of public firms and non-profit organizations in Japan. He has conducted several studies with managers in Japanese firms, such as Nissan, Toyota and Toshiba. He has had a several research seminar with managers in Japan for an in-house training and a group management, and he has dedicated himself for the leadership education outside school. He also examined the local firms in Malaysia and Singapore of leading firms in Japan such as Toshiba, Hitachi, Matsushita Electric (currently Panasonic) as the theme of “The Internationalization of Japanese Human Resources Management System”. He investigated the management at Seikyo and the incentive-work for faculty and staff at Seikyo. Also, he has published “The management Theory by P. Drucker: The Legitimacy of Business and Management” (Bunshindo) and “Management and Governance in Consumers Co-operatives,”(in Japanese). More recently, he has established a CUC 100%-own corporation and had served as a president of CUC Support as a practice of management. After that, he had served as an executive director of the main college management for three years.
