Biography

Dr. Masanobu Ito is currently working as Associate Professor in Juntendo University, Faculty of Medicine, Japan. He obtained his PhD in Faculty of Medicine & Graduate School of Medicine Juntendo University, School of Medicine Tokyo, Japan. He is also working as member of Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology, Japanese Society of General Hospital Psychiatry, the Japanese Society for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Japanese Society of Clinical Neuro Psychopharmacology. His area of interest includes a mechanism of Electroconvulsive Therapy, Effective differences of patients to ECT, Adult Neurogenesis, The role of neurogenesis in ECT. His experience include, worked as Research Fellow, Clinical Assistant, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor at Juntendo University Tokyo, Japan, Post-doctoral fellow at McGill University Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He has published 6 articles in journals, 9 case report, and 7 poster presentations as author/co-author.
