Biography

Dr. Yanhong Wu is currently working as Professor at Chengdu Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Elected Fellow, and Vice Director of Key Laboratory of Mountain Surface Process and Ecological Regulation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his PhD in Physical Geography from Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002. His field of specialization includes, Biogeochemistry, Quaternary, Paleolimnology, Geochronology, Environment change in Mountain Region, Pale Climate. His prior working experience includes, Guest Associate Professor and Guest Professor at Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Visiting Professor of Geography Institute at University Bern Switzerland, Post-Doctor and Guest Scientist at Juelich Research Center Germany, Guest Scientist at Environment Change research center University College London, UK, Assistant Engineer at Geology & Mineral Bureau, Jiangsu Province, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor at Institute of Geography and Limnology, CAS. He has published 57 articles in journals contribute as author/co-author.
