Dr. Xinming Wang is currently working as Professor at SKLOG, and Visiting Professor at Centre National de la Rechecher Scientifique. He obtained his Ph.D. in Geochemistry from SKLOG; GIG, CAS in 1997. His research interest include, Atmospheric Organics (volatile organic compounds or VOCs, and organic aerosols) and their Evolution in the Ambient, Chamber simulation of Gas-Phase Evolution of VOCs and Multi-Phase formation of Secondary Organic Aerosols (SOA), Land-Atmosphere exchange of Trace Gases that are important to Air Quality and Climate. In past he worked as Research Assistant, and Research Associate at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Invited Visiting Scholar, University of California at Irvine, Senior Visiting Fellow at Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, and Research fellow at SKLOG. He is member of following societies, American Geophysical Union, Air & Waste Management Association, American Chemical Society, The American Association for the Advancement of Science, China Society of Meteorology (Panel of Atmospheric Compositions). He is member of Editorial Adversary Board in Atmospheric Environment and Associate Editor in Biogeosciences. Dr. Xinming received honors include, President Scholarship for Graduate Students in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, The Young Scientist Awards of China Society of Environmental Sciences, The Provincial Natural Science Award, The Award for Progress in Environmental Science & Technology, National Environmental Protection Bureau, The State Natural Science Award, The Excellent Advisor Award in Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences Prominent Teacher Award, and The Provincial Natural Sciences Award of Guangdong. He has published 86 articles in peer-reviewed English journals in recent 5 years.
