Biography

Dr. Bin Chen is currently working as Professor at School of Environment, State Key Joint Laboratory of Environmental Simulation and Pollution Control, Beijing Normal University, Beijing. He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Peking University, Beijing, China. His working experience includes, working as Design Engineer at Guangxi Electric Power Industry Investigation Design and Research Institute, Guangxi, P. R. China, Postdoctoral Fellow at Peking University, Beijing, Post Doctoral Fellow, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at Beijing Normal University, Beijing. Dr. Bin Chen received honors includes, CPSF Postdoctoral Scholarship, First Prize for S&T Progress in University (MOE, China), New Century Excellent Talents in University, Young Science & Technology Award (CSES), National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize 2012. He is member of editorial board in number of journals. He is also serving as professional reviewer of several journals. He also supervised many Graduate students and Post Doctoral Fellow. He has published 8 chapters in book, 1 chapter in book, 188 articles in journals, 31 Chines journal paper, 47 refereed conference presentations and edits 12 special issues contributed as author/co-author.
