Biography
Dr. Yi Luo holds a position of Professor at College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Nankai University. She has completed her Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from Nanjing University, China. Previously she was appointed as Lecture/Associate Professor at College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Liaoning University. She successfully completed 4 research projects. She has 10 publications in journals. Dr. Luo received honors includes best paper award in Environmental Science & Technology Letters, China Ecological Society of the third session of the youth science and Technology Award, and The Ministry of education in the New Century Excellent Talents. Her research area focuses on emerging Pollutant such as Antibiotics, the Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria and the Antibiotic Resistance Genes (ARGs), the transport and Propagation of Antibiotics and Antibiotic Resistance Genes in the River, Environmental Stressors that influence the Proliferation and Dissemination of ARGs in the Water, Soil and Air Environment, the Proliferation and removal of ARGs in Wastewater Treatment systems, the Spatial Andtemporal distribution of Antibiotics and Antibiotic Resistance Genes.
